23 years of Experience in Window Treatments
Mark Allen graduated from from Iowa State University with his degree in Engineering. Mark decided after pursuing his engineering career to continue the family cleaning business which led him to window treatments. He eventually transitioned his business to focus on window treatments. Mark does the sales calls and installs for the business. Mark's kids, Chase and Emily and his Dad, Paul have been known to help out as well.
Mark's Team
Mark's niece, Anna is the Office Manager. Anna does all of the bookkeeping, scheduling of appointments and installs and any other day to day operations. Anna can be reached at anna@alleninteriorsllc.com.
Willie is our full time installer and an employee of Allen Interiors. We do not contract out our installs and everything is done with the utmost precision. Willie is known as our perfectionist.
What to Expect - From Consultation to Install
We understand that choosing window treatments is a big decision, so we bring samples of our products directly to your home. This way, you can see how the colors, textures, and styles look in your own space before making a choice. After all, your windows are the final destination!
Once you place your order, we send it straight to our manufacturer, where your custom window treatments are carefully made to your exact specifications. After production, they’re securely packaged and shipped to our large shop, where they’re safely stored. The delivery company brings them directly to us, so they never have to face Iowa’s unpredictable weather.
When your blinds arrive, Willie checks in your order and then Anna will reach out to schedule your installation. We typically only have your order for a day or so before we're ready to install them—so you won’t have to wait long to enjoy your new window treatments!
